A Division of Technology Associates International Corporation
Safety & Health
We believe that in order to provide a stable foundation for our safety program we must train our employees not only in safety topics that are required, but also provide awareness training. Awareness training enables our employees to recognize hazards associated with work performed by others that may impact their safety and well-being. Within Technology Associates we have several diverse work groups. Our safety training plan has been developed with this in mind.
Technology Associates’ management is committed to providing an incident free workplace. In order to achieve this goal we have implemented reporting guidelines. All incidents including near misses/potential hazards are reported and investigated. A monthly report is generated detailing the incident as well as the corrective action taken to prevent a similar incident from occurring. This report is discussed with all personnel during a monthly safety meeting.

We review the following:

  • Hours Worked (for each month and YTD)
  • Near Miss Reports
  • Vehicle/Equipment Incidents
  • First Aid Injuries
  • Recordable Injuries
  • TRIR (for each month and YTD)
  • Severity Rate (for each month and YTD)
Technology Associates’ Corporation Safety Manual, Environmental Plan and Work Guidelines are revised annually by the Corporate Safety Coordinator and reviewed by Technology Associates’ Managers. These approved, updated documents replace outdated manuals and are distributed. Within Technology Associates, we aspire for continual improvement, not only in Health, Safety and Environmental, but in all of our endeavors.
